MBABANE – Former Mbabane Swallows players Tony ‘TT’ Tsabedze and Siza ‘King Pele’ Dlamini are among the analysis for Eswatini TV during the broadcasting of the English Premiership games.
The former National Team, Sihlangu Semnikati players were revealed by Eswatini TV Senior Marketing and Communications Officer Nomcebo Mbhamali who said there are other analysts that will join the studio.
The pair will also be joined by Nhlanhla Maphanga who is currently a member of the Eswatini Olympic and Commonwealth Games Association (EOCGA).
Both ‘TT’ and Siza are for international players who have played outside the country, South Africa during their active times. Siza Dlamini is currently attached as physical trainer for Mbabane Swallows while Tsabedze retired at Swallows last season.
Eswatini TV will be broadcasting the English Premiership games live, especially every game on Saturday while they had planned to give a slot on Sunday to local games. Eswatini TV last broadcasted the EPL games live in the 2015/ 16 season that was won by Leicester FC.
Their first game would be the Arsenal vs Wolves to be played on Saturday, kick-off at 4pm.
Mbhamali told the Eswatini TV Sports that during the games, the analysis’s will have an hour before kick-off to analyse the game with the Eswatini TV Sports Reporters being Fabrice Musonera, Phathizwe Msibi, Mfanafuthi ‘Taribo’ Bhembe and Linda ‘Master’ Dlamini among others.
The Eswatini TV and the Premier League of Eswatini (PLE) are still in discussion of broadcasting the 2024/ 25 MTN Premier League game live, at least one game per week, especially Sunday’s.
