MBABANE – Take a ‘selfie’ and walk away with E500, if you spot the Trade Fair bus.
The Eswatini International Trade Fair (EITF) has launched the Spot the Trade Fair Bus competition that will start tomorrow (Thursday, August 1, 2024) until August 30, 2024. There are two Trade Fair buses that the public could spot in Eswatini.
The competition will run on the Eswatini International Trade Fair Facebook page. Prizes will be won on a weekly basis, with winners being announced every Friday. This was confirmed by EITF spokesperson Siphesihle Nkhabindze today (Wednesday, July 31, 2024).
The public can identify the Eswatini International Trade Fair buses by the EITF logo, which is printed on their sides. The bus is also labelled Eswatini International Trade Fair, with the event dates of August 30 to September 8, 2024, on both the left and right sides of the bus. The QR codes on the bus can also be scanned to obtain the EITF app, which carries information about the Trade Fair.
The first prize handover will take place on August 9, 2024, with each winner receiving E500 in cash. There will be four winners in total, with one winner being announced each week.
Nkhabindze said, “We are excited to launch the Spot the Trade Fair Bus competition this year. We want to create a positive buzz about the Trade Fair online while getting our audiences to interact with the content. Our theme for the EITF this year is Accelerating business growth through digitalization’. We want to create more opportunities for communities to interact with us on digital platforms.”
He went on to add, “We also want to connect with the youth, who should also gain some sort of benefit by coming to the EITF this year. We encourage all emaSwati to participate, and most importantly, for them to tag us and use the hashtag #SpotTheTradeFairBus on all their posts to enter the competition,” said Nkhabindze.
It is worth mentioning that there are two Trade Far buses that the public could spot in Eswatini. Selfies with either of the buses will be considered valid competition entries so long as the entry instructions are followed correctly.
Members of the public can enter the challenge by:
1. Take a selfie with the Trade Far Bus while it is stationary in a safe position for pictures to be taken.
2. Post your selfie on your Facebook page.
3. Tag the Eswatini International Trade Fair and use the hashtag #SpotTheTradeFairBus. Entries without the hashtag or where the Eswatini International Trade Fair Facebook page is not tagged will not be considered valid.
Participants can enter as many times as they would like and take as many selfies as they would like with the bus. The more entries, the higher your chances of winning. Winners will be chosen via random draw and not based on the number of likes.
