MALKERNS – Grab the opportunity to make money at the Makoti Festival as a vendor, trader applications are now open.
The application deadline for registration is 15 March 2025. Feedback to successful applicants will be communicated on 27 March 2025. While payment deadline for approved stalls is on 31 March 2025. This was confirmed by Makoti Festival Director, Thembinkosi Mthethwa.
He said, “Be part of our vibrant community and showcase your product at the Makoti Festival. Join us as a vendor. Stall registration is now open,” shared Mthethwa.
The fourth edition of the Makoti Festival will be held at Malkerns Country Club on 26 April 2025. The festival is presented by New Life Entertainment, in partnership with the Illa Penboy Foundation.

Yesterday the line-up was beefed up with the addition of legendary gospel ensemble, Shongwe Ne Khuphuka and Siyinqaba duo, which consists of Muti (born Muzi Ngwenya) and KrTC (born Thamsanqa Sibandze).
The line-up for this year’s Makoti Festival so far, includes the multi-award-winning Dr. Rebecca Malope, Mozambique’s own queen of Afro-beat, the sensational, multi-award-winning Lizha James, South African Maskandi powerhouse Khuzani. “uGatsheni” Ndlovu, NACA 2024 Outstanding Afro-pop artist Young Zesh, born Mzwandile Comfort Ginindza, Mshikishi Mndzebele, who will also join the exciting line-up for the fourth edition.

The purpose of the family-orientated festival is to promote Eswatini culture. It is a celebration of modern women, in particular married or unmarried, and young girls who aspire to be proud makotis in the near future. The festival provides fashion stalls, food stalls, and live performances. The festival is known for celebrating trendy fashion for young and old women from different backgrounds.
