MBABANE – Two top models from Top Models Eswatini have been hand-picked to represent the agency at the upcoming Gaborone Batho Fashion Week in August.
The two selected models are Nondumiso Msibi and Snakekelwe Dlamini. This was confirmed by Top Models Eswatini Founder and CEO Mbalenhle Manana.
The Fashion Week is a three-day extravaganza of fashion, creativity, and inspiration set to take place in Gaborone, Botswana, from August 9 to 11, 2024. The selected models will have the opportunity to showcase their poise, elegance, and grace on the international stage, further elevating the profile of Eswatini’s budding fashion industry.
Manana expressed her excitement for being part of the fashion show. “Our partnership involves me bringing my models who did well on the Epic Gig fashion show from Top Models to be part of Batho Fashion Week. As an agency, it’s our duty to scout fashion shows or fashion weeks for our models,” she said.
She continued to state that Batho is giving them a platform to spread their wings and do many different fashion weeks’ shows. It will also help the models become more professional, be ready for big stages, and exchange cultures.
“We will be taking Nondumiso Msibi and Snakekelwe Dlamini. We have exchanged cultures before with Accra Fashion Week Ghana, Seychelles Fashion Week Seychelles, Tanzania Swahili Fashion Week, and Botswana Fashion without boarders,” she said.
