MBABANE – His Majesty King Mswati III has since appointed Vusi Dlamini as the new Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Finance and further reshuffled four other Principal Secretaries.

Before his appointment, Vusi had been working as PS, albeit on an acting basis following the departure of PS Sizakele Dlamini who left to join the Centre for Financial Inclusion (CFI) as Chief Executive Officer.

Vusi’s original post was that of Director of Budget and Economic Affairs in the Ministry of Finance.

When announcing the appointment and reshuffles, Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini announced that PS Siboniso Nkambule will be transferred to the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office (DPMO), where he will be the PS. Nkambule will replace PS Melusi Masuku, who will now assume the role of PS at the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Trade, a position that was held by Nkambule.

The reshuffle has also affected the Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs, as well as the Ministry of Natural Resources and Energy. The PSs in these Ministries have also swapped. PS Dorcas Dlamini is now the new PS in the Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs. PS Lindiwe Mbingo has been transferred to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Energy, where she will replace PS Dorcas.

  5. Lindiwe Mbingo- Ministry of Natural Resources and Energy
