MBABANE – The Young Buffaloes have firmly cemented their position at the top of the table log after a commanding 5-0 win over Southern Divas this past weekend at Ecinisweni Sports Ground.
The victory not only maintained their unbeaten streak but also sent a clear message to their rivals as the team continues to display unmatched form this season.
From the opening whistle, the Buffaloes dominated proceedings, with an impressive 41 points.The match quickly tilted in their favor, with early goals setting the tone for what would be a one-sided affair. Their relentless pressure and clinical finishing left no room for the Southern Divas to recover.
According to the chief exucutive of Young Buffaloes, Sandie Gwebu they always train their girls to come up with positive results. ” When we train them, we always make sure that they come with positive results.” Said Gwebu. ” Their consistent win is a motivation on its own, so that they continue to win.” Gwebu added.
The win marks another step in what has been a remarkable campaign for the Young Buffaloes. With consistent performances and a solid squad depth, the team has emerged as a formidable force and clear title contenders.
For now, the top of the table remains firmly in their control and based on current form, they don’t look like they’ll be giving it up anytime soon.
