MBABANE Eswatini music sensation Young Zesh, born Mzwandile Comfort Ginindza, is celebrating a major milestone as the music video for his hit single Senibeketele has surpassed 100 000 views on YouTube.

Released on 4 July 2025 under his independent label, Mabonwa Abulawe Records, the video’s growing popularity reflects the rising appreciation for homegrown talent across Eswatini and beyond.

Senibeketele, produced by DJ Citie, is a reflective piece rooted in gratitude and personal growth. Its music video, directed by Siphosethu Sibandze and Tinashe Naishe, brings the emotion of the song to life through compelling storytelling and striking visuals. The script—co-written by Young Zesh and Sibandze—along with Naishe’s cinematography and editing, creates a powerful visual narrative that aligns seamlessly with the song’s heartfelt message.

Young Zesh has spent the past few years carving out a distinctive place in Eswatini’s music landscape. With a catalogue that includes fan favourites such as kaKhoza, Ligcebesha, and Ungangikhaleli, he continues to demonstrate his versatility as an artist. His sound—an innovative fusion of Afrobeat, hip-hop, and Swati cultural rhythms—has helped him develop a loyal fanbase and position himself as one of the country’s most promising contemporary musicians.

The success of Senibeketele goes beyond statistics.
