MBABANE – Celebrating a decade of unwavering service to the community, the Helping Hand Foundation is at the heart of a powerful collaboration with Mollys Restaurant and Eswatini Mums. Together, they will host a Family Fun Day on Workers’ Day, May 1, 2025, at The Bridge (in front of Mollys Restaurant) from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This event aims to celebrate the foundation’s 10-year milestone while continuing its crucial work of supporting underserved communities in Eswatini.
A Decade of Dedication: Supporting Vulnerable Youth with Helping Hand Foundation
For the past ten years, the Helping Hand Foundation has been a beacon of hope for vulnerable youth in Eswatini’s rural areas, where access to basic necessities is often limited. Their Donation Bin Campaign, strategically placed at popular venues like The XChange Lounge and Shisanyama, The Smoke and Grill, Skippyville Cafe, Olive Café, Azul Lifestyle, IF’s Lounge, and 23:28 Lounge, has become a cornerstone of community support.
“For a decade, we’ve witnessed the profound impact of providing dignity through basic necessities,” stated Ncamiso ‘Pads Guy’ Mahlalela of Helping Hand Foundation. “A clean shirt, a pad, a bar of soap—these are not luxuries, but essentials. Our partnership with Mollys and Eswatini Mums amplifies our efforts, allowing us to reach more people and instill renewed hope, building on the foundation of the last ten years.”
Mollys Restaurant: A Decade of Community Partnership
Mollys Restaurant, a steadfast supporter of local initiatives, is proud to host the Family Fun Day, reinforcing its commitment to community welfare. “Our dedication to the community runs deep, and we recognize the invaluable work of the Helping Hand Foundation over the past decade,” said Larry Mhlanga of Mollys Restaurant. “We’re honored to be the home base for this impactful event, contributing to their ongoing legacy of service.”
Eswatini Mums: Driving Change and Celebrating a Decade of Impact
Eswatini Mums, a dynamic social media-based community platform, empowers women and young females, while also welcoming male entrepreneurs, by providing a space to connect, promote, and sell their products and services. Building on the foundation of previous successful events, they are once again mobilizing families and small businesses for a charitable cause.
“These events are about bringing people together not only for fun but also to give back, continuing the vital work that Helping Hand has been doing for ten years,” explained Zakithi Magagula, Eswatini Mums PRO. “Whether you’re a vendor looking to grow your business or a parent teaching your children the value of kindness, there’s a place for everyone, contributing to a decade of positive change.”
The previous events demonstrated the power of collective giving, highlighting the significant impact that can be achieved when women and families unite. “This is not our first time, and it won’t be our last, especially considering the ten years of dedication from Helping Hand,” Magagula added. “Each year, we witness the difference our donations make. This year, we’re aiming for an even greater impact, celebrating and supporting a decade of service, and we invite the entire country to join us.”
