SITHOBELWENI – Rising Hip- Hop and rap sensation Fanson is set to release his much-anticipated love song “Sawubona Sisi” along with its official music video on May 30, 2025.
The track is all about expressing love and proposing to a significant other, and it will be available for streaming soon, with the visuals premiering on YouTube.
At just 22 years old, Fanson, born Siboniso Fana Mamba, has already begun to carve a path for himself in Eswatini’s music scene. Growing up in Sithobelweni, his musical journey began humbly in school with his friend Mndeni Magagula, where they utilized the Tune Me App to record their first rhymes. He later attended Mabhensani High School, where he met fellow artist Blaq Spider, who played a key role in his musical development.

Fanson crafted a unique identity by blending “Fan” from his second name Fana and “son” to reflect his personal story, hence the stage name Fanson. His debut track was recorded at KaNkonjwa and mastered by Plasta, using instrumental beats to address community issues. Although the track lacked professional quality, it opened doors for future opportunities.
During his first performance at Moneni Guest House, Fanson made connections with several artists, including Slow Boy, who introduced him to acclaimed Matsapha-based producer TNS Savvy. This collaboration led to the creation of the popular track “Ungakhali,” featuring Slow Boy.
Since then, he has released additional songs such as “Umshado” featuring Slow Boy and ProRBS (Lijahalelimnyama), and “Liphimbo Lwami” featuring Slow Boy. Now, he is gearing up for the release of “Sawubona Sisi,” with its music video edited by Visto.
Fanson has transitioned from performing at intimate events to preparing for larger stages, feeling ready to take on the big leagues. He draws inspiration from well-known local artists such as Young Zesh (Intwanencane), Lyrical Busta, and Jay Spitter, whose journeys serve as motivation for him.
With passion, persistence, and a growing catalogue of tracks, Fanson is undeniably one to watch in Eswatini’s ever-evolving music scene. Keep an eye out for “Sawubona Sisi” and its music video, set to captivate audiences and showcase this talented artist’s growth
