…. EIPA CEO Unveils Golden Opportunities for Global Investors

By Mbongeni Ndlela

EZULWINI – The Kingdom of Eswatini is fast becoming Africa’s investment jewel.

That was the compelling message delivered by Eswatini Investment Promotion Authority (EIPA) Chief Executive Officer Sibani Mngomezulu during the prestigious gala dinner of the Eswatini Investment Conference at Sharma House on May 14, 2025.

With confidence and pride, Mngomezulu painted a vivid picture of a nation brimming with potential and ready for global partnerships.

“There remains an opportunity to invest in the renewable energy sector, in mining, agro-processing, infrastructure, and more,” he said, highlighting the Kingdom’s readiness to welcome strategic investors.

He stressed the role of the Royal Science and Technology Park (RSTP) as a centerpiece for innovation and research, inviting investors to harness the modern infrastructure and untapped possibilities the facility offers.

A glowing highlight of his speech was the roster of international brands already operating in Eswatini.

From Coca-Cola to distilleries and even Kellogg’s Toilet, Mngomezulu shared how these companies are not only thriving but expanding their footprints.

“Those who are new investors to the Kingdom have announced projects to grow their investments—Eswatini is clearly doing something right,” he noted.

Beyond opportunity, Eswatini is offering incentives that few other nations match. These include:

• 10-year corporate tax concessions for approved development projects

• Tax exemptions on dividends

• Subsidized plug-and-play factory spaces

• Free access to machinery and equipment

• Tax rebates on raw materials

• Special Development Zones (SDZs) with additional incentives

Mngomezulu urged guests to “ask the person next to you why they’ve invested in Eswatini”—a heartfelt testament to the local investment community’s satisfaction.

With plans to increase Foreign Direct Investment and continue building investor confidence, Eswatini is writing a new chapter—one of shared prosperity, innovation, and sustainable growth.

“We have a truly exciting story to tell,” Mngomezulu concluded, “and we welcome the world to be part of it.”
