MBABANE – Last night, Mbabane’s artsy Bahle Gallery was the place to be as saxophone maestro, multi-award-winning artist, and author Fakazi Samuel pulled off a classy, intimate affair that blended tech, soul, and pure musical sauce.

Dressed in his signature suave style, the artist turned what could’ve been a basic website launch into a full-on vibe with the premiere of his music video for Africa Unite, and let’s just say, the groove was smooth and the message powerful.

Entertainment heads, media peeps, and industry movers and shakers were in attendance as Fakazi officially unveiled FakaziSamuel.com, his new digital crib that showcases his journey, music, merchandise, and oh yes, a booking tab for those who want to experience his magic live and up close.

The evening kicked off with heartfelt words from his manager, the ever-composed Phindokuhle Sithole, who reminded the guests that Fakazi wasn’t just a muso, he’s a spiritual storyteller, a sound missionary on a mission to unite and uplift.

“Fakazi is more than a saxophonist. He is a storyteller without words, a vessel through which sound becomes spirit,” said Sithole, delivering what felt like a TED Talk with flair.

He went on to say the launch wasn’t just a moment in time, but a declaration, a digital rebirth of an artist who’s been consistently walking in grace and calling.

“You don’t need to shout to be heard. You just need to be true,” he said, leaving the room nodding in admiration.

Cue the standing ovation when Fakazi finally took the mic.

Visibly moved, the man of the hour thanked his manager for sticking with him “through thick and thin”,  a true bromance rooted in faith and vision. He also gave props to the behind-the-scenes heroes: Green Tech Global for designing the slick new website, and PS Imaging for their visual finesse.

And this is no ordinary website, fam. FakaziSamuel.com is giving serious “artist with a plan” energy. Fans can stream and buy music, download albums and his books, check out his past gigs, and cop Africa Unite merch that’s got a fire logo and message. There’s even a section to advertise, yes, he’s making sure the corporate bag is part of the vision.

“You’re able to buy the single and the whole album. You can download the album and the book,” Fakazi told the crowd, adding that orders can be placed and delivered straight to your doorstep. Convenience meets creativity? We love to see it!

Africa Unite, the single, already has hearts racing, a live recording from Mbabane Alliance Church, the video is a sonic prayer for togetherness, resilience and, of course, African pride. The visuals are crisp, the sound is butter, and the message? Goosebumps.

Last night’s launch wasn’t just a ceremony,  it was a musical sermon served with tech, talent, and touches of inspiration. And with Fakazi now fully digital and ready to take on the global stage, Eswatini might just have found its jazz-powered ambassador.

TL;DR? Fakazi Samuel just made sax sexy and digital, and we are so here for it.
