MBABANE- The Eswatini National Schools Arts and Culture Association has secured a significant boost for its upcoming cultural competition through a generous sponsorship from Inyatsi Construction, in collaboration with Eswatini Network of Women.
Under the empowering slogan “Can Do Attitude,” Inyatsi has contributed E500,000 while the Eswatini Network of Women donated E150,000, bringing the total sponsorship to E650,000. The association aims to teach EmaSwati students to compete with the culture of Eswatini. The boost will help the association to fund the competition which encourages the young Emaswati to take pride in their culture and also share different views and styles in the culture.

The cultural competition is scheduled to take place on the 2nd of June 2025, and will feature a variety of performances rooted in Eswatini culture, including Ummiso, drum majorities, and several other traditional artistic expressions.
This partnership marks a strong commitment to nurturing and preserving Eswatini’s rich cultural heritage through youth participation. The association’s core aim is to provide a vibrant and inclusive platform for students across the country to engage in and showcase their talents in traditional Swati cultural practices.
In light of this exciting initiative, the association is calling on all school headteachers across the country to support and encourage student participation in this cultural innovation. The competition promises not only to highlight student creativity and cultural pride but also to strengthen national identity among the younger generation.
“We are calling for school headteachers to join school Arts and Culture association because now we have a sponsor to cater for the competitions.” Said Gamedze.
This initiative stands as a testament to the power of collaboration between corporate sponsors and community organizations in fostering education, culture, and national pride.
