OSAKA, JAPAN — Eswatini’s presence at the Japan Expo 2025 was nothing short of inspiring, as Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini captivated an international audience with his stirring call for shared learning and cultural exchange.
In his address at the welcome reception, Dlamini extended warm gratitude on behalf of His Majesty King Mswati III and the people of Eswatini, emphasizing the Expo as a symbol of unity and innovation.

“Our pavilion stands as a vibrant reflection of our identity, showcasing the rich tapestry of our culture, traditions, and breathtaking landscapes,” he said. “From the rhythmic beats of our traditional music to the vibrant colours of our crafts, we invite you all to experience the heart and soul of our beautiful Kingdom.”

More than a showcase of Eswatini’s rich heritage, the premier’s remarks also stressed the importance of learning from Japan’s unparalleled expertise in hosting world-class events.
“We aspire to learn from Japan’s expertise in organizing such monumental events, so that Eswatini can not only effectively participate in other expos but also, in the future, host similar initiatives that will showcase our own strengths and potential,” he added.

The PM’s remarks set the stage for Eswatini’s upcoming business forum, scheduled for today at the Expo Salon. This forum is expected to forge connections and spark investment opportunities, demonstrating Eswatini’s readiness to engage with global partners. “Eswatini is ready for business,” he declared, extending an open invitation to investors and guests alike.
As the Expo 2025 unfolds, Dlamini’s call for collaboration, cultural celebration, and future partnerships resonates as a powerful message of hope and unity. In his concluding words, he captured the essence of the moment: “Together, we can celebrate our differences while finding strength in our common goals.”

The Eswatini delegation’s presence at this global stage is a testament to the Kingdom’s firm spirit and vision for a brighter future, a future built on mutual respect, cultural appreciation, and shared progress.
