MBABANE – Over 2 million YouTube views and climbing!

Local Amapiano sensation Lady Sphesh is setting digital platforms ablaze with her breakout hit “Ngiyahamba,” which has soared to over 2 million plays on YouTube Music and an impressive 1.7 million views on YouTube video — and the numbers keep rising.

The song’s visuals gained over 100,000 views within the first 10 days of its release, confirming that “Ngiyahamba” is more than a hit — it’s a cultural wave.

The track first captured public attention when it welcomed the New Year on Eswatini Broadcasting Information Services (EBIS 2). Since then, it’s gone from a local anthem to a global streaming success, placing Lady Sphesh on the map as one of Eswatini’s most promising musical exports.

Born Siphesihle Shongwe, Lady Sphesh shared in a previous interview that “Ngiyahamba” is rooted in real-life emotions and experiences. It speaks to love, loss, celebration, and survival. I wanted it to connect with people and remind them to keep pushing forward.

Collaborating with renowned producer Amjay, she crafted a song that’s both danceable and emotionally resonant — a signature of the Amapiano genre with a deeply personal twist. The explosive online engagement, from shares to dance challenges, has become a testament to its impact.

Riding the wave of this momentum, Lady Sphesh recently teamed up with Nigerian-born, South Africa-based Afrobeat artist Rhyma on a powerful new single titled “I’m Callin’.

Rhyma, born Charlie Inyang, brings a dynamic Afro Pop and commercial House influence to the song, creating a seamless sonic blend with Lady Sphesh’s signature emotive sound

Released in March 2025, the track is a smooth fusion of Afrobeat, soul, and emotive vocals, and features South African singer LisaRsa, who adds warmth and richness to the production. The official music video is set for release soon.

With two major tracks already making waves in 2025, Lady Sphesh is proving that her voice, vision, and vibe are here to stay.
