MATSAPHA – Conversations that matter are making a powerful comeback. The Men2Men Kudliwa Inhloko Conference is back for its second edition, and this year it promises to go even deeper—challenging Eswatini men to face their own reflections and step into purpose.

Happening on Saturday, 5 July 2025, at the tranquil Mlilwane Nature Reserve, the event is spearheaded by the Eswatini Tinyawo Foundation, and themed: “The Man in the Mirror: Embracing Self-Acceptance and Unlocking the Path to Success.”

At its core, the Men2Men Conference is about creating a safe, judgment-free space where men can speak openly, shed toxic societal expectations, and connect with their inner truths. This year’s edition aims to tackle pressing issues like mental health, emotional intelligence, and identity—areas often left in the shadows of masculinity.

The speaker line-up is nothing short of inspirational including;

  • Thokozani Nkambule (MD, Lidwala Insurance) will unpack resilience, leadership, and wealth-building in today’s fast-paced world.
  • Phinda Calvin Dlamini, a respected clinical psychologist, is set to address the emotional toll of modern masculinity and the urgent need for self-acceptance.
  • Sifiso Daladi Dlamini, an entrepreneur with an empowering backstory, will motivate attendees with his real-life journey of triumph over adversity.
  • Sithemiso Mndzebele will round out the day with wisdom on finding balance and meaning in both personal and professional spheres.

Far from a stiff, corporate setup, the event embraces a laid-back, come-as-you-are vibe. Casual dress is encouraged, and with tickets going for E200 (covering meals and entrance), the conference is both accessible and inviting.

Founder Thandeka Dlamini, reflecting on the journey from the inaugural 2023 edition held at Silovela Garden Valley, said, “We’re building a movement that redefines what strength looks like for men—not silence, not struggle alone, but vulnerability, connection, and self-growth.”

With men facing increasing pressure across home, work, and social spheres, this conference aims to serve as a healing and empowering retreat. Organisers hope it helps destigmatize emotional vulnerability and shows that real men do talk—and grow.

As awareness around men’s mental health continues to gain global traction, this conference marks Eswatini’s contribution to the dialogue. It’s more than just a one-day event—it’s a catalyst for long-term transformation.

Men from all walks of life are encouraged to attend, whether seeking community, clarity, or a path forward.
