MBABANE – As the spirit of Christmas sweeps across the Kingdom, Eswatini TV is turning up the holiday cheer with a star-studded lineup of five brand-new shows.
Designed to foster unity and celebrate local talent, the festive schedule promises a mix of rhythm, reflection, and culinary mastery that aims to bring families together in front of the “Sibuko SemaSwati.”
The newly launched programs are crafted to resonate with every Liswati, from music lovers to food enthusiasts. Senior Marketing and Communications Officer, Nomcebo Malinga, highlighted the channel’s commitment to providing high-quality, local content that captures the warmth and magic of the season.
Kicking off the musical festivities is “Gift of Music,” a soulful one-hour program premiered on Friday, December 19, 2025, at 6:00 PM. The show features Eswatini’s finest musicians sharing personal holiday stories while performing reimagined versions of timeless classics. For those seeking a deeper connection to the community, “Festive Wishes” travels across the four regions of Eswatini, giving people of all ages a platform to share their hopes, dreams, and messages of hope.
On the big day itself, the channel will air “My Christmas Day” at 9:00 AM. This annual special brings together prominent artists for an elegant morning of Christmas carols, presented in a fresh and exciting format to start the holiday celebrations on a high note.
Food lovers have a special treat in store with the premiere of “Cooking With KRTC this Festive Season.” Set against the picturesque backdrop of Nkonyeni Golf Estate, the dynamic reality show features the kingdom’s renowned rapper and hip-hop artist, KRTC. The show takes viewers into luxurious homes where four surprise guest chefs will demonstrate culinary creativity, offering masterclasses in festive meal preparation.
As the year draws to a close, Eswatini TV will facilitate a spiritual transition through the “Spiritual Vibe Crossover Celebration 2025.” This live special will air on December 31 from 8:00 PM to 1:00 AM, allowing believers to end the year and usher in 2026 with worship, prayer, and collective reflection.
“The channel invites families and viewers of all ages to tune in throughout December to enjoy these festive offerings,” stated Mrs. Malinga. She emphasized that the programming is not just about entertainment but about emphasizing community and generosity during challenging times.
