MPAKA – An Anthem for the struggling!
Swazi hip hop artist Nkos’khona Vincent Dlamini, known by his stage name Blaq Panda, is set to make waves in the music scene with the release of his highly anticipated EP titled “Umtfwalo Usebhokweni,” scheduled to drop on August 10, 2025.
Blaq Panda describes the EP as “an anthem for those who are suffering,” aiming to empower listeners to persevere through their struggles and continue hustling despite the challenges they face.
Blaq Panda’s musical journey began in 2016 while he was in Form 2 at Malindza High School. Inspired by the music of Blaq Diamond, he decided to write his own songs, marking the start of his career as an artist. Drawing from his personal experiences and the challenges he faced, Blaq Panda has used music as an outlet to express his feelings and connect with others.
His upcoming EP, “Umtfwalo Usebhokweni,” is a significant reflection of his commitment to uplift those who are struggling. “This project is for everyone who feels like giving up,” he explains. “I want them to know that they have the power to keep going.” The themes of resilience and determination resonate deeply within the Swazi community and beyond.
Blaq Panda credits his producer, Seime Stones Dpr, along with the other artists he collaborated with, for their essential roles in the creation of this EP.
