MBABANE – The Baphalali Eswatini Red Cross Society has upgraded its financial system by introducing the Sage 300c accounting software, aiming to improve efficiency and accountability across its operations.

Finance officers from the Society’s three clinics, five regional branches, and headquarters received intensive training during a workshop held on July 30, 2025, facilitated by the organisation’s IT staff.

The training focused on real-time financial tracking, automated workflows, and data analysis to support better decision-making.

The new system integrates seamlessly with platforms used in cash and voucher assistance, closing gaps in financial reporting and enabling the Red Cross to collaborate more effectively with its partners.

This upgrade was funded by the European Union  ECHO PP, a key partner that has supported the Red Cross in providing cash assistance to those affected by disasters since 2016.

This digital transformation marks a major step forward, allowing the Red Cross to respond more rapidly, manage resources more effectively, and serve more communities in times of need.
