MANZINI – Music lovers are in for a treat as IF’s Lounge in Manzini gears up to host a vibrant Karaoke Night on Wednesday, August 20, 2025. The evening will be headlined by two of Eswatini’s most promising rising stars, Stella Jacobs and Hapkoo, ensuring an electrifying celebration of music, talent, and community spirit.
Stella Jacobs, winner of the 2024 MTN Bushfire Firefly Competition, has been making remarkable strides in the local music industry. Known for her dynamic stage presence and soulful voice, she seamlessly blends multiple genres, leaving audiences captivated. Stella’s journey, defined by passion and perseverance, has established her as one of Eswatini’s brightest young artists.
Sharing the spotlight is Hapkoo, the 2025 Firefly Competition champion, whose unique sound fuses Afro-soul and trap. With her rising profile, Hapkoo is excited to showcase her artistry, promising fans an unforgettable performance. “People should come prepared to have fun, be happy, and enjoy a true karaoke experience,” she said, adding that her team is ready to bring their very best to the stage.
The event kicks off at 6 PM and runs late into the night, with resident DJs including MC Thando keeping the energy high between live performances. True to its reputation, IF’s Lounge continues to serve as a hub for local talent, having previously featured stars like Zwile and Khole. This Karaoke Night is yet another testament to the venue’s commitment to Eswatini’s thriving music scene.
