HLANE – History was made at Hlane Royal Residence when warriors attending Butimba were, for the first time, ministered to with the Word of God. His Majesty King Mswati III welcomed Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, whose evening visit brought a spiritual touch to the traditional gathering.
The King described the occasion as a unique moment, noting that never before had warriors been spiritually nourished during Butimba. He praised the Archbishop as “a man of the scripture”, observing that it is easy to distinguish between those who genuinely live by the Bible and those who merely seek tithes.
This remarkable encounter marked a blending of culture and faith, highlighting Eswatini’s path of tradition strengthened by spiritual values.
