MBEKELWENI- Young gospel star Mahle Hlatshwako earns Gospel Personality nomination Eswatini Lifestyle Awards.
Young and vibrant gospel artist Mahle Hlatshwako, known as Mahle_H, has been nominated in the Gospel Personality of the Year category at the Eswatini Lifestyle Awards 2025. Hailing from eKudzeni (Mbekelweni), Mahle represents the new wave of gospel musicians rising with authenticity, passion, and a strong message of hope.
The artist revealed that the nomination came as a complete surprise. “I was shocked when a friend of mine sent me the poster. I couldn’t believe it, I literally cried because I felt so overwhelmed thinking about the contestants who’re stronger in terms of popularity. But at the end of the day, I was filled with gratitude and humbled by this nomination,” he said.
Mahle described the recognition as a validation of his hard work and dedication to spreading the gospel through music. “It’s a reminder that my efforts are making a positive impact on people’s lives. Professionally, it opens doors for new opportunities, collaborations, and growth,” he explained.
His journey began at just 15 years old during his high school years, although he had discovered his gift of singing in primary school. Over the years, he has graced stages with some of Eswatini’s biggest artists and continues to grow as a performer.
Mahle’s music is deeply rooted in messages of hope, redemption, and faith. He blends traditional gospel with contemporary sounds, creating a style that he says stays true to his Swati roots while pushing new boundaries.
Looking forward, fans can expect new music releases, live performances, and collaborations as Mahle continues to uplift and inspire through his artistry. Winning the award, he says, would be a monumental milestone that would take his career to greater heights.
