SIPHOFANENI– Zweli Msibi, popularly known as Zweli The Vocalist, is gearing up to drop his highly anticipated single, Ungakhali, featuring Sithaba Nxumalo, widely known as C2K, in the first week of November 2025.

Speaking about the inspiration behind the track, Zweli explains that the song was born from observing the struggles faced by many couples. “I noticed how relationships often fail because one partner is out there hustling while the other feels left behind, especially men,” he says. “Ungakhali is my message to couples, if you work as a team, there’s hope. Don’t cry, I’m out here grinding for us. It’s heartfelt, real, and straight from the soul.”

The collaboration with C2K was nothing short of serendipitous. Zweli shares that he had been searching for C2K for three years, only to learn that the artist had left the country. “The day we finally met, we quickly arranged a studio session and recorded . Interestingly, this song was written and composed three years ago,” he adds.

Describing the song’s sound, Zweli says, “I would classify Ungakhali as Afro Soul. I chose the title because it captures the essence of what happens when one is left behind while hustling, it resonates with the core emotion of the song.”

Zweli’s musical journey has been steadily ascending. He first made waves with his debut single Ingoma, which garnered over 5,000 views in its first week and received airplay on local TV and radio. His follow-up, Umhlaba, further cemented his presence in the industry, and Ungakhali will be his third official single.

Fans can also look forward to a music video for the single, set to drop alongside the track in the first week of November. Zweli’s heartfelt lyrics, smooth vocals, and relatable themes are expected to resonate deeply with audiences across Eswatini and beyond.

With Ungakhali, Zweli The Vocalist continues to showcase his talent, offering music that speaks to life, love, and perseverance, solidifying his growing reputation in the Afro Soul scene.
