LOZITHA PALACE – His Majesty King Mswati III today received His Excellency Eng. Waleed bin Abdulkarim El Khereiji, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, at the Lozitha Royal Palace, in a meeting aimed at deepening bilateral relations between the two Kingdoms.

During the audience, His Excellency El Khereiji conveyed a special message to His Majesty from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, as well as from the Saudi Royal Family and the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The visit underscored the long-standing friendship and growing cooperation between Eswatini and Saudi Arabia, reflecting their shared commitment to strengthening diplomatic, economic, and developmental partnerships.

Following the message, His Majesty and the Vice Minister held private discussions that focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation across key sectors, including trade, investment, and development. Both sides reaffirmed their mutual desire to explore new avenues of partnership that will contribute to sustainable growth and prosperity in their respective nations.

Earlier in the day, His Excellency Eng. El Khereiji paid courtesy calls on Senator Pholile Shakantu, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and on the Prime Minister, His Excellency Russell Mmiso Dlamini. These meetings served to consolidate the dialogue on shared priorities such as economic diversification, energy, education, and infrastructure development.

Eswatini and Saudi Arabia enjoy warm and cooperative relations, with collaboration spanning development assistance, investment, and capacity-building initiatives. The two Kingdoms continue to build on a foundation of mutual respect and shared vision for stability, prosperity, and international cooperation.

The audience at Lozitha Palace marked yet another step forward in strengthening Eswatini’s strategic partnerships within the Gulf region, reinforcing the country’s growing global engagement and its commitment to fostering friendships rooted in respect, development, and shared progress.
