MANZINI – Camera, light, action!
Eswatini TV has officially launched the second season of its acclaimed local drama series, Ekhaya.
The launch event took place at Julio’s Cinelux in Manzini on the evening of 6 November 2025, drawing a lively crowd of guests, fans, and industry figures eager to celebrate the much-anticipated return of the show.
Among the distinguished attendees was Principal Secretary in the Ministry of ICT, Andreas Dlamini, who highlighted the importance of incorporating Siswati into local productions. He noted that the use of the national language in storytelling not only preserves Eswatini’s cultural heritage but also reinforces a sense of national identity and pride.
Ekhaya, meaning “home,” returns with a compelling storyline that continues to follow the King of Mashobeni, delving deeper into themes of power, ambition, and family dynamics.
