MBABANE– The local music industry is bracing for a massive sonic shift as Mabonwa Abulawe Records prepares to release their latest heavy-hitter, “Simayakayaka.”

The highly anticipated single is officially scheduled to drop on Friday, March 6, 2026, promising to be one of the most significant collaborative efforts of the year.

The highly anticipated track brings together a spiritually charged, sonically dynamic lineup featuring JimiBoi SD, Young Zesh, and Lesia Musiq, alongside collaborators Histo and Linda Dlamini. DJ Citie handled production duties, while the technical engineering was finalized by Sean Cast HQ, with Ncwiki Flex crafting the single’s official artwork.

Speaking in an interview, Mabonwa Abulawe Records CEO Young Zesh described Simayakayaka as more than just another release, positioning it as a deliberate artistic and spiritual statement. He noted that the project reflects the label’s mission of merging urban sounds with divine truth.

“The inspiration behind the song came from real-life testimonies, stories of survival, redemption, prayer and perseverance,” Young Zesh shared.

He further revealed that the song’s emotional core was shaped during intense creative moments. “This song was born out of prayer sessions, life struggles, and the desire to remind people that no matter how dark it gets, God still calls us by name,” the CEO said.

At its heart, the track carries what the label describes as a clear and urgent message for a generation searching for grounding. Young Zesh emphasized that while the sound is modern, the theme is intentionally timeless.

“The message is simple but powerful: God is still in control. We’re addressing real-life battles—depression, rejection, poverty, temptation—but we’re also declaring victory through faith. This is not just music; this is ministry over 808s.”

Beyond the sonic appeal, the project aims to reshape personal narratives. Young Zesh stated that the project carries a message of restoration, urging listeners to understand that their past does not define them. “Your mistakes do not cancel your purpose. There is grace, there is redemption, and there is restoration,” he added.

As the March 6th release date approaches, the label is calling on supporters to actively back the project. “We urge everyone to stream, share and support this powerful Trap Gospel anthem on all digital platforms. Run it up, add it to your playlists, and share it with someone who needs encouragement,” he concluded.
