SIDVOKODVO – The 2026 National Sports Awards received a major boost through the partnership with MulaSport, strengthening efforts to recognise and celebrate sporting excellence in Eswatini at the TLC Auditorium in Sidvokodvo on March 26, 2026.

The partnership between MulaSport and the Ministry of Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs brought renewed energy to the prestigious event, ensuring a vibrant and memorable celebration of athletes, associations and sports leaders who continue to raise the country’s flag high in international competitions.

Speaking during the awards ceremony, Minister of Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs Bongani Nzima expressed appreciation for MulaSport’s continued support, describing the company as a valued partner in the growth and development of sport in Eswatini.

The Minister said government highly values such collaborations as they contribute to strengthening national programmes that recognise and reward sporting excellence.

Nzima highlighted that the National Sports Awards are part of the National Sports Rewards Programme, which aims to honour outstanding athletes and motivate them to achieve podium finishes at recognised international competitions. Hon Minister noted that partnerships with private sector organisations like MulaSport play a crucial role in ensuring the success and sustainability of such initiatives.

The minister also encouraged more stakeholders to support sports development, emphasising the importance of collaboration between government, sponsors and sporting associations in building a competitive and inclusive sports sector. He added that continued partnerships will help create more opportunities for athletes, technical officials and young talent across the country.

MulaSport’s involvement in the 2026 National Sports Awards reflects the growing role of private sector support in promoting sport and empowering athletes in Eswatini.
