EZULWINI– In a heartwarming display of corporate social responsibility, MA Consulting Engineers has reaffirmed its long-standing commitment to the Stukie Motsa Foundation through a donation of 62 lip balms.
The official handover took place on April 1, 2026, at the MA Consulting Engineers boardroom at Corner Plaza. This donation marks another milestone in a partnership that has flourished since the Foundation’s inception in 2016.
Receiving the donation, the Founder and Executive Director of the Foundation, Senator Dr. Stukie Motsa, expressed profound gratitude for the gesture. She highlighted the technical necessity of the items, noting that for persons with albinism, skin protection is not a luxury but a fundamental healthcare requirement.
“Lip balm is a critical commodity for persons with albinism as it provides essential protection against the harsh effects of the sun,” Senator Motsa said. “We are deeply grateful for this support, especially considering how difficult the current economic climate is for many businesses.”
The Senator further lauded MA Consulting Engineers for their consistency. She noted that the firm was among the first to understand the Foundation’s mission a decade ago, providing support when awareness of albinism challenges was still low in the Kingdom.
Representing the management of the engineering firm, Human Resources Director Bonginkosi Dludlu and Finance Director Skhumbuzo Nkomo presented the items. Dludlu stated that the company remains dedicated to its social mandate despite the prevailing financial challenges.
“As a company, we recognize the importance of the work being done here. even in these tough times, we believe it is our duty to reach out and touch lives,” Dludlu remarked.
Finance Director Skhumbuzo Nkomo echoed these sentiments, joining the presentation to signal the firm’s unified management support for the cause. He praised the Foundation for its transparency and for being a reliable partner in advocacy for the albinism community over the years.
The 62 lip balms will be distributed to the Foundation’s beneficiaries across the country. This donation comes at a vital time as the Foundation continues to advocate for better access to sun-protective gear and healthcare for persons with albinism, who face a higher risk of skin-related complications due to sun exposure.
The event concluded with a shared commitment from both parties to continue working together to ensure that no one is left behind in the journey toward a more inclusive and caring Eswatini.
