MBABANE – For years, children in Enyonini have started their days before sunrise, walking long distances just to reach the nearest classroom. Now, that journey is set to change.
A new E5 million primary school will soon rise in the heart of the community, offering young learners something many have long dreamed of—education closer to home.
The project, announced on April 9, 2026, is funded through the Microprojects programme and is expected to transform daily life for hundreds of families. For parents, it means peace of mind. For children, it means more time to learn, rest, and simply be children.
Community leaders say the development could not have come at a better time. With growing enrolment placing pressure on existing schools, the new facility will ease congestion while ensuring safer, more accessible education.
There was also deep appreciation for the family that donated land for the school—a gesture described as a powerful act of community spirit and shared responsibility for the future.
Local voices reflect a sense of relief and excitement. For many residents, this is more than just a building; it is a symbol of progress and opportunity.
Once completed, the school will stand as a reminder that when communities, leadership, and government work together, meaningful change is possible—bringing education closer, brighter futures within reach, and hope firmly rooted in Enyonini.
