MANZINI — The countdown to one of Eswatini’s most anticipated lifestyle events has officially begun following a successful launch of the Impisi Rally held at HotBar on Wednesday, 15 April 2026.
The launch, which drew a lively crowd of bikers, music lovers and thrill seekers, set the tone for what promises to be an electrifying gathering on May 1 at Mavuso Trade Centre. Organisers say the event will blend high-energy entertainment, biking culture and a vibrant social atmosphere.
Vice President and Head of Marketing, Sivesonkhe Masuku, said the launch marked more than just a celebration, it was a commitment to deliver an unforgettable experience.
“We were inspired by the people’s excitement and eagerness for the Impisi Rally. People can’t wait for the 1st of May, so we found it important to keep them oiled up with activities and the launch is an official promise to the world that Impisi Rally is ON,” said Masuku.
He added that the rally is designed to cater for a wide audience, from bike enthusiasts to partygoers and food lovers.
“May I assure people that this rally brings a combination of excitement and entertainment. It’s an opportunity for everyone to breathe and enjoy. People will have the best opportunity to acquaint themselves with bikes and understand the types and levels of bikes because the atmosphere will be friendly and jolly,” he said. “People must come with their comfortable dancing shoes because the show will be a blast. Foodies will enjoy because we have the best stalls too.”
Masuku revealed that the response has already exceeded expectations, with accommodation in Manzini nearly fully booked ahead of the event.
“People are responding very well. The excitement is real. People are already gearing themselves up for the day. Most lodges around Manzini are already fully booked. The response is massive,” he said.
The launch also featured appearances from DJs and performers who are set to take the stage, promising a competitive and thrilling lineup.
“Each and every performer is promising to unleash the best of their talent. Remember, Sun-El Musician will be playing at a bikers’ rally for the first time ever, so even he is exuberantly waiting for the day,” Masuku added.
With momentum building, all eyes are now on May 1 as the Impisi Rally gears up to roar into life.
