LOBAMBA — Maskandi star Khuzani Mpungose has confirmed that he is already in Eswatini and ready to perform at tomorrow’s historic celebrations marking King Mswati III’s birthday and 40 years on the throne.
The popular singer, also known as “King Ndlamlenze”, shared the update with fans on his Facebook page, putting an end to speculation about his appearance and building anticipation for his performance at the Somhlolo National Stadium.
In his own words, Khuzani wrote: “Sesifikile eSwatini lapha sizo perfomer khona eStadium, emcimbini oMkhulu weNkosi uMswati. Ningixolele ngokunyamalala i network ayikho lana ngoba kukwelinye izwe.”
His message, loosely translated, confirms his arrival in Eswatini and apologises for being offline due to poor network coverage while in another country. He also shared a caption showing off the Somhlolo National Stadium, the official venue for the grand celebration, adding excitement ahead of his performance.
Khuzani’s presence is expected to add major energy to the national celebrations, which are among the most significant events on Eswatini’s calendar. The occasion marks not only the birthday of King Mswati III but also his 40 years on the throne — a historic milestone symbolising continuity, culture, and national pride.
