BHUNYA– Music lovers and entertainment enthusiasts are expected to descend on Bhunya Stadium on May 16 as the highly anticipated Montigny No-Fire Extravaganza promises a full-day celebration of music, lifestyle and community entertainment.
The event, which will begin at 8am and continue until late, will feature a star-studded line-up of local artists, DJs and entertainers from across Eswatini. Organisers have announced that entrance to the event will be free, making it accessible to fans from different communities who are eager to experience one of the region’s biggest entertainment gatherings.
According to promotional material released this week, the extravaganza will feature performances from popular acts including Linda Dlamini, M Nation, Ntenteza, Makhenikha, Mzoro Ntsetse, As 4 Jerry P, ItsAllBlaq, Tilungu, AyaCity, Sgitha, Lyrikal Busta, The Bishop, MBO, ID, Cybos, Thick B, Knoxman, Zulu D and MixMash. The event will also be hosted by experienced programme directors Sihlabani, Sintour and UR Lisa, who are expected to keep the crowd entertained throughout the day.
Organisers say the event aims to promote safe entertainment and community engagement while giving local artists a platform to showcase their talent before a large audience. The “No-Fire” concept is expected to encourage peaceful celebrations and responsible enjoyment during the festivities.
Food and drinks stalls will be available inside the venue, although organisers have warned attendees that weapons will not be allowed into the stadium. Sponsors supporting the event include Montigny, HomeBrew Music Carnival, Gundane at Montigny, Orchard Insurance and Asandla Financial Services.
The announcement of the extravaganza has already generated excitement on social media, with many fans describing the line-up as one of the strongest local showcases seen in recent months. With a mixture of different music genres and performances expected to take centre stage, the event is anticipated to attract hundreds of revellers from Bhunya and surrounding areas.
