MBABANE– A night of deep house rhythms, celebration and musical milestones awaits entertainment lovers as Eswatini’s own DJ Cup prepares to mark his birthday and launch his latest EP at what promises to be one of the season’s hottest events.
The Prime Time Party, hosted by NewLife Entertainment, is set for June 19, 2026, at 23:28 Lounge in Mbabane Business Park. The event will celebrate both DJ Cup’s birthday and the release of his new EP Part 2, bringing together house music enthusiasts for an evening of premium entertainment.
Born Welcome Zama Maseko, DJ Cup has steadily cemented his place as one of Eswatini’s leading Afro House figures. His latest project features collaborations with Soul Cavalli and Zinia, delivering the energetic and soulful sound that has become synonymous with his brand.
Adding star power to the celebration is renowned South African deep house heavyweight D.General, affectionately known as “Mr Izwa La.” Born Dumisani Teboho Sithole, the Johannesburg-based DJ, producer and musician rose to prominence as part of the celebrated duo Deep Xcape before carving out a successful solo career. His extensive catalogue of EPs and acclaimed album Rebirth have earned him respect across the Southern African house music landscape.
The entertainment lineup will also showcase some of Eswatini’s finest selectors, including Sbu De Drum DJ, DJ MBO, Locco B2B Dopedeep, Slotta, The Bishop B2B Ace4nic and several other crowd favourites expected to keep the dancefloor alive throughout the night.
Speaking ahead of the event, DJ Cup said the celebration is more than just a birthday party.
“June 19 is actually my birthday, so we’ll be rocking the Prime-Time Party with our special guest D.General from South Africa. We will be celebrating my achievements in music and the growth of the DJ Cup brand. People should come through expecting fire performances and amazing vibes,” he said.
The event comes shortly after DJ Cup’s selection to represent Eswatini at the prestigious Kings of House 20.26 showcase in Mozambique next month, further highlighting his growing influence on the regional house music scene.
With doors opening at 6pm and festivities stretching into the night, the Prime Time Party is expected to deliver unforgettable moments, quality music and a fitting celebration of one of Eswatini’s rising house music ambassadors.
