MBABANE – Christian Life Community (CLC) Church Hawane is set to host a Church Building Fundraising Gala Dinner on August 28, 2026, as the congregation intensifies efforts to raise funds for the construction of its church building.
The fundraising event will take place at CLC Church Hawane from 6pm, bringing together church members, business leaders, worshippers and members of the public for an evening of inspiration, worship and giving towards a shared vision.
Hosted by Rev. T. Makhanya and Pastor C. Makhanya, the gala aims to mobilise financial support for the church’s building project while creating an opportunity for fellowship and community engagement.
The evening will feature an impressive line-up of guest speakers and gospel artists. Renowned South African preacher Pastor Zakhele A. Buthelezi from Brakpan, Gauteng, will deliver the keynote address, while Bishop D. Mahlalela from Tonga, Mpumalanga, will present the fundraising pitch, encouraging guests to invest in the vision of building a permanent place of worship.
Adding to the evening’s atmosphere will be performances by celebrated Eswatini gospel artists Fakazi Samuel and Siphiwo Ndoni, who are expected to entertain and uplift guests through music.
Tickets are selling for E250 for a single entry and E450 per couple. Organisers have also encouraged supporters who may not be able to attend to contribute through the designated mobile money payment platform.
Guests are expected to observe a formal dress code, with men requested to wear black and white attire, while ladies have been encouraged to dress in a classic style befitting the occasion.
Church fundraising galas have become an important avenue for faith-based organisations to finance infrastructure projects while strengthening relationships within their congregations and surrounding communities.
