MANZINI- Eswatini Amapiano artist Sunshine KayOne is preparing to release his latest single, Emalunde, later this month, with the rising musician expressing confidence that the track will resonate with music lovers and groove enthusiasts.
The artist recently shared a short preview of the song on Facebook, where it has already begun generating positive reactions from fans. According to Sunshine KayOne, the teaser has attracted a growing number of views, comments and likes, a sign that listeners are eagerly awaiting the official release.
“The response has been amazing. People are enjoying the snippet and are asking when the full song will be released,” he said. Adding to the excitement, Sunshine KayOne revealed that he also received encouragement from South African artist Blaq Major, who commented on the preview and motivated him to continue working hard on his music.
The title Emalunde is a Siswati term referring to people who do not sleep at home because they spend the entire weekend out enjoying themselves. Sunshine KayOne explained that the song celebrates the lifestyle of people who enjoy socialising with friends after a long week of work.
“This song is dedicated to everyone who loves going out and enjoying life. It is about having friends, or even a brother-in-law, who work hard during the week and, when payday comes, call each other to spend the whole weekend grooving together,” he explained.
Blending infectious Amapiano rhythms with a relatable message, the artist believes Emalunde will become a favourite among fans who enjoy music that reflects everyday experiences.
As anticipation continues to build ahead of its July release, Sunshine KayOne is hopeful the single will mark another important step in his musical journey while further establishing his name within Eswatini’s growing Amapiano scene.
