PIGG’S PEAK – The Eswatini Revenue Service (ERS) has appointed Mxolisi Zikalala, Octavia Dlamini and Bonginkhosi Mazibuko as new Client Relationship Consultants (CRCs) for the Pigg’s Peak area.
The three will serve as a direct link between ERS and businesses in the area, particularly small and micro enterprises that may require guidance on tax obligations, compliance matters and other revenue-related services.
Their appointment forms part of the ERS Regional Client Relationship Consultant Model, which is aimed at improving taxpayer support and making ERS services more accessible to businesses at regional level.
Under the arrangement, the consultants will work closely with businesses, assist them with tax-related queries and connect them with the relevant ERS services where specialised assistance is required.
According to Thembelihle Dlamini of ERS Pigg’s Peak, the appointment of the three consultants is intended to create a more direct relationship between the revenue authority and the local business community.
She encouraged businesses to approach Zikalala, Dlamini and Mazibuko whenever they experience difficulties or need clarity on tax-related matters.
The consultants are expected to help businesses better understand their tax responsibilities while also ensuring that concerns are addressed before they develop into serious compliance problems.
The appointment also strengthens ERS’s broader approach of maintaining regular contact with taxpayers instead of engaging businesses only when compliance challenges arise.
For entrepreneurs in Pigg’s Peak, the three CRCs will now provide a local point of contact for tax guidance, compliance queries and other ERS-related assistance.
ERS has continued to strengthen taxpayer education and engagement across the country, particularly among small, micro and medium enterprises.
Through the appointment of the three consultants, the revenue authority is seeking to improve communication, build stronger relationships with taxpayers and make support easier to access for businesses operating in Pigg’s Peak.
