PIGG’S PEAK – The upcoming Miss Hhohho Beauty Pageant 2026 is expected to bring together fashion, culture and entertainment while giving young women a platform to showcase their talent, confidence and ambitions.
Set for Saturday, 1 August, at Pigg’s Peak Hotel, the pageant will see contestants take to the stage as they compete for the title while demonstrating their ability to represent the Hhohho Region.
While beauty pageants are often associated with fashion and appearance, the Miss Hhohho competition is also placing emphasis on talent development and the empowerment of young women. The event aims to create opportunities for contestants to grow, gain confidence and use their abilities to pursue their dreams.
Organisers said the pageant supports the country’s efforts to nurture and showcase talent, in line with the objectives of the Eswatini National Arts and Culture Policy. Through the competition, young women will be given an opportunity to express themselves and gain exposure within the creative and entertainment industries.
The event is expected to attract supporters of pageantry, fashion and local entertainment, with contestants preparing to present themselves before an audience while competing for the Miss Hhohho crown.
The pageant will also provide a space for young women to connect with others in the creative industry and build skills that may support their future opportunities. By placing emerging talent on a public platform, the competition seeks to encourage participants to believe in their abilities and pursue their goals.

The event will begin at 7pm and continue until late. Attendees are expected to dress in traditional wear or formal attire, reflecting the pageant’s blend of cultural identity and modern fashion.
