MANZINI– The countdown to the 10th edition of the Embiveni Biggest Braai has reached boiling point after South African award-winning music sensation Makhadzi officially confirmed that she will perform at the highly anticipated cultural and entertainment celebration this Saturday, July 25.
Held under the theme ‘Agape Love Year’, this year’s milestone edition is shaping up to be one of the biggest yet, with excitement continuing to build as organisers unveil major attractions ahead of the event.
In a video message shared with fans, Makhadzi invited emaSwati and visitors from across the region to be part of the festivities.
“Good evening guys, my name is Makhadzi from South Africa. Please catch me live on the 25 July at Embiveni Biggest Braai this coming Saturday, July 25. I love you guys so much. Please go buy tickets. Wozani nonkhe, sicule sonkhe, sijabule sonkhe. I love you guys so much. See you Saturday,” she said.
Known for her electrifying performances, infectious energy and chart-topping hits, the Limpopo-born superstar is expected to draw thousands of music lovers eager to witness one of Southern Africa’s most celebrated entertainers take to the Embiveni stage.
The excitement does not end with the entertainment lineup. The atmosphere around the festival intensified yesterday as the much-anticipated Khoisan delegation officially arrived in the Kingdom of Eswatini after travelling more than 840 kilometres from Botswana. Their arrival signals the beginning of the cultural celebrations that have become a signature feature of the Embiveni Biggest Braai, bringing together heritage, music, food and unity under one vibrant platform.
With the international guests now in the country and Makhadzi’s confirmation adding fresh momentum, all signs point to a memorable celebration as the heat continues to rise ahead of Saturday’s main event.
