MANZINI– South African Maskandi star Big Zulu is set to headline the Ummemo Cultural Event After Party at Siphocosini Ndlunkhulu on 1 August 2026, leading a line-up that will bring together local artists, music and cultural celebration.
The event is scheduled to start at 7pm and continue until late, with performances expected from Zulu D, Sanchiezy, Young Zesh, Mimkhulu, DJ Mahutha and Mixmash.
As the headline act, Big Zulu is expected to be one of the major attractions of the evening, bringing his well-known Maskandi sound and energetic stage presence to the event. His appearance adds a regional dimension to the celebration while placing local performers alongside an established South African artist.
The after party will form part of the wider Ummemo Cultural Event celebrations, creating a space where culture and contemporary entertainment meet. The programme will showcase different sounds and performance styles while giving local artists an opportunity to perform before a wider audience.
Local acts Zulu D, Sanchiezy, Young Zesh and Mimkhulu are expected to bring their own musical identities to the stage, while DJ Mahutha and Mixmash will contribute to the entertainment through DJ performances.
The event comes during a busy entertainment weekend in Eswatini, with several major events taking place across the country. However, the combination of cultural celebration, local talent and Big Zulu as the headline performer is expected to make the Ummemo Cultural Event After Party one of the weekend’s notable attractions.
The event will also provide music lovers with an opportunity to celebrate Eswatini’s culture while enjoying performances from artists representing both the local and regional music scenes.
