SIPHOFANENI– The Eswatini National Provident Fund (ENPF) is using its regional roadshows to educate members and the public about its services, including new systems that allow clients to access Fund services from the comfort of their homes.

ENPF Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Futhi Tembe said the response from the public towards the Fund’s regional outreach programme had been encouraging, but the engagements had also exposed gaps in public awareness about some of the products and services offered by the organisation.

Tembe was speaking during the Fund’s regional outreach roadshow at Siphofaneni on Friday, August 21, 2026.

“The public is responding very well towards our regional outreach, through road shows,” Tembe said.

She said while many people were already aware of ENPF and its role, the roadshows had revealed that many were not familiar with some of the products available to them, particularly the supplementary contribution and lump sum benefit.

“What we learned is that the public is cognisant of ENPF and the services the organisation provides, but what we have learnt is that many people are not aware of many of our products such as the supplementary contribution and lump sum,” she said.

Tembe said this had helped the Fund identify the information gap that needed to be addressed through direct engagement with members and the public.

She said the Fund was teaching the public about the benefits they could enjoy through ENPF, while also introducing them to new systems designed to make accessing services easier.

“And the new systems we have installed that they can use to access ENPF services while they are at the comfort at their homes,” she said.

The Siphofaneni engagement formed part of ENPF’s continuing Catsatsa Sikuwe! Member Engagement Roadshow, which takes information and services directly to members and employers at their workplaces.

The roadshow has also provided an opportunity for workers to ask questions, give feedback and gain a clearer understanding of how their contributions are managed and the benefits available to them.

The Fund has also been encouraging members to understand its voluntary supplementary contribution, known as Ingungu, which allows employees to make additional contributions on top of the compulsory contribution.
