MBABANE– SuperSport United have celebrated two decades of remarkable success, amassing 50 trophies across different age groups since 2006.
The achievement has been confirmed by the club’s Director/Head Coach, Samkeliso ‘Pep G’ Simelane, with the club having plied its trade in the promotion league under the Hhohho Regional Football Association (HRFA).
Despite operating within the regional promotion structures, SuperSport United have built an impressive trophy collection spanning the junior and senior ranks.
The club’s records show that its silverware has been accumulated across the Under-10, Under-13, Under-15, Under-17, Under-20 and senior teams over the 20-year period.
A significant portion of the success has come through the Cabana/Parmalat competitions, where the club has won 10 Under-13 trophies.
The Mandla Mahewu competitions have also proved fruitful, with SuperSport United claiming 10 trophies across the Under-15, Under-17 and senior teams.
The club has further demonstrated its strength in youth development through its 16 Brand Active trophies, won across the Under-10, Under-13, Under-15, Under-17 and Under-20 categories.
At Under-17 level, the club has won five Hub Utility Stores trophies, while another five Essential Hardware trophies have added to its impressive junior record.
SuperSport United have also lifted the Build It Under-13 trophy twice, while the senior side secured the Shidloh Estate title in the 2025/26 season. The club also boasts one Correctional Cup trophy, won during the 2017/18 season.
The figures paint a picture of a club whose success has been built largely from the grassroots, with players progressing through various age groups while competing for honours.
For Simelane and the club, the 50-trophy milestone represents more than just silverware. It reflects 20 years of consistency, player development and competitiveness within the HRFA promotion league structures.
From the Under-10s to the senior team, SuperSport United have continued to establish themselves as a club capable of producing teams that compete for honours.
With half a century of trophies collected between 2006 and 2026, the club’s two-decade journey stands as a significant achievement in regional football.
