NHLANGANO – The certificates may have been the main prize, but the graduands certainly made sure they looked the part while receiving them.

Ngwane Teachers College’s 40th graduation ceremony was not only a celebration of academic achievement but also a colourful display of fashion, as graduands arrived dressed for one of the biggest days of their lives. The graduation arena became something of a fashion showcase, with different outfits, colours and personal styles adding to the atmosphere of the milestone celebration.

For the graduands, getting dressed was part of the excitement. After years of lectures, assignments, examinations and the pressure that comes with completing a qualification, yesterday gave them a chance to step out, celebrate and enjoy the moment.

Some went for elegant and sophisticated looks, while others brought their own personalities into their outfits. Together, the different styles reflected a graduating class that was ready to celebrate in its own way. Family members and friends also joined in the excitement, capturing photographs and videos as graduands proudly showed off their looks.

The fashion added a personal touch to a ceremony already filled with emotion. For many of the graduands, the day represented the end of one journey and the beginning of another as they prepared to enter the education profession.

But before taking on the responsibilities that come with becoming educators, they had every reason to enjoy their moment. Yesterday belonged to them the achievements, the smiles, the celebrations and, of course, the outfits.

As Ngwane Teachers College celebrated its 40th graduation ceremony, its graduands added their own colour to the occasion, proving that a major academic milestone could come with plenty of style too.
