EZULWINI – Twenty years, countless memories and one unforgettable weekend later, the curtain has finally fallen on the Swazi Boy Entertainment 20 Years Celebration, leaving Happy Valley Hotel buzzing with music, fashion and moments that will live long after the last beat faded.

The anniversary celebration brought together music lovers, creatives, fashion brands and entertainment personalities for a weekend that not only marked two decades of Swazi Boy Entertainment, but also showcased the growth and diversity of Eswatini’s creative industry.

Day three came with its own dose of nostalgia as familiar sounds sent the crowd down memory lane while contemporary stars kept the younger generation on their feet.

Lyrikal Busta took the audience back with the classic “Kakhoza”, featuring Young Zesh, as fans sang along and danced to every word.

The nostalgia continued when Siyinqaba delivered their well-known hit “Gwayimane”, instantly turning the venue into a sea of moving bodies as revellers sang along from beginning to end.

Then came the arrival of South African DJ and entrepreneur DJ Zinhle, who brought her own brand of energy to the anniversary celebration.

Behind the decks, DJ Zinhle had the crowd dancing and singing before calling out her “besties” and creating a moment that felt more like a massive friendship gathering than a performance.

Her set included “Wo-Lo”, adding another high point to an already electric night.

Young Stunna later took over the stage, keeping the momentum alive with “Ngiyozama”, “Adiwele”, “Ngizwile” and “Imphumelelo”.

During “Adiwele”, the artist not only had the crowd singing along but also showed off his dance moves, further raising the temperature at Happy Valley.

But the anniversary was not only about what happened on stage.

Outside the performances, fashion and lifestyle brands transformed the venue into a creative marketplace, with Black Crown, ERA by DJ Zinhle, N Collection, Black Degree, Kayses Creations, Guzzani, Crochet by Selu and Jenny among the brands showcasing their work.

The ERA by DJ Zinhle pop-up, in particular, drew attention after the brand shared footage from its Bestie Cam, celebrating the way Eswatini had embraced the shopping experience with fashion, laughter and connection.

For Swazi Boy Entertainment, the celebration served as a reflection of a 20-year journey within an industry that continues to evolve.

For the audience, however, it was simpler – a chance to dress up, link up, sing along to favourite songs and make memories.

As the final performances wrapped up and the crowds began making their way home, one thing was clear: Swazi Boy’s 20th anniversary was not simply a celebration of the past.

It was a loud, colourful reminder that Eswatini’s entertainment and creative scene continues to have stories worth celebrating – and plenty more beats still to come.
