MANZINI — DJ and producer ACE4NIC is swapping the usual birthday routine for a night of house music, bringing fellow DJs, creatives and music lovers together for his Birthday Link-Up on Friday, 14 August 2026.
The celebration, taking place at 23:28 Lounge at Mbabane Checkers, comes as ACE4NIC continues to build on a music journey that began behind the decks in 2013.
Instead of making the night solely about the birthday cake, the Link-Up puts music at the centre, with DJ Cup, Seba Nonkosi, Selby, Locco and Kingheart joining ACE4NIC on the line-up. The event will run from 6 p.m. until late, with free entry.
The gathering also reflects ACE4NIC’s wider work in Eswatini’s music scene. Beyond performing as a DJ, he has developed his identity as a producer and creative through the Pure Grooves platform, using music as a space for collaboration and creative expression.
His production catalogue includes Sentiments, The Introduction featuring StoicTunes and Groover’s Prayer featuring Dopedeep, showing another side of an artist whose work stretches beyond the DJ booth.
The birthday celebration follows a recent tour in South Africa, bringing ACE4NIC back home for an occasion that blends a personal milestone with his long-running relationship with music.
Rather than presenting the Link-Up as a conventional birthday party, the concept centres on creating a relaxed environment where people can listen to different sounds, dance and connect.
With several DJs sharing the decks, the night is expected to offer a mix of personalities and musical styles while keeping house music at the heart of the gathering.
For ACE4NIC, the celebration is therefore not just another birthday entry on the calendar. It is a chance to mark another year by doing what has remained central to his journey creating spaces where people can simply come together and enjoy good music.
