KWALUSENI — The atmosphere at the UNESWA Kwaluseni Grad-Square shifted into a powerful gospel experience on Friday night as South African gospel singer Xolly Mncwango took the stage during the ongoing Youth Revival Crusade.
Mncwango’s appearance formed part of the Schools Mission-hosted Youth Revival 2026, which is running from 6 to 8 August under the theme “Flow River Flow.” With her powerful vocals and worship-driven sound, Mncwango led the gathering through a musical moment that had the audience engaged in praise and worship.
Her performance added a strong musical dimension to an evening that brought together gospel music and ministry, with young people filling the venue for the Friday programme. Mncwango’s presence also gave the revival a distinctly musical highlight, as her gospel repertoire created moments for the crowd to sing along, worship and respond to the music.
The Friday programme also featured Solomon Zikalala, the host of the revival, alongside Apostle P.P. Zikalala, combining gospel music with ministry throughout the evening. The Youth Revival Crusade has been drawing young people to the Kwaluseni campus since Thursday, with the programme designed around worship, youth fellowship and gospel entertainment.
The revival continues today, Saturday, with a youth gathering and worship experience scheduled from 10 a.m., bringing the three-day programme to a close. For those who attended Friday night, however, Mncwango’s performance provided one of the evening’s standout musical moments, adding her voice to a revival where gospel music became part of the way young people connected, worshipped and celebrated their faith.
