MBABANE– Wire Speed Systems has introduced its AI-powered GPRC Snaps platform to help organisations use their own data to improve decision-making, monitor performance and strengthen governance, risk and compliance management.
The platform was presented by Wire Speed Systems GRC SME Lead Mr Johnstone during the three-day GPRC Conference being held at Hilton Garden Inn in Mbabane from September 15 to 17, 2026.
Johnstone said the system’s AI capability was designed to provide intelligence based on an organisation’s own data and knowledge base rather than relying solely on general information.
“The AI that is embedded in our system is unique in that it is being guided by the data that you are feeding everything in your system,” he said.
He explained that the system continuously draws information from the organisation, allowing it to take into account developments within the organisation and its industry when providing insights.
Johnstone said this could help organisations make decisions based on what was actually happening within their operations, rather than relying on assumptions that were common across their industries.
He said many organisations tended to have similar business models and strategies because managers often made similar assumptions about their industries.
He said GPRC Snaps was intended to help organisations analyse their own information more deeply by identifying patterns and relationships between different variables.
Johnstone said the platform brings governance, strategy, performance, risk and compliance together on an integrated system, while incorporating AI, data science and data engineering capabilities.
He said the system also provides real-time visibility of GPRC activities, allowing organisations to monitor governance matters, risk exposure, performance and compliance requirements.
On performance management, Johnstone said the system could automate the tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs), enabling organisations to monitor their progress at regular intervals instead of waiting until the end of a year or quarter.
“You don’t need to leave it at the end of the year that you have met your targets, or to leave it until the end of the quarter to see that you have failed to achieve your targets,” he said.
He said the system could also issue notifications when a KPI moved above or below a predetermined level, giving management an opportunity to take corrective action.
Johnstone said the platform included other notification functions for assignments, overdue tasks and approvals, while status colour coding could indicate areas that required attention.
He said GPRC Snaps could integrate with structured and unstructured data and complement organisations’ existing systems rather than replacing them.
The platform is also a low-code, no-code system, which allows users to configure elements of the platform without extensive IT coding.
Johnstone said organisations could configure features such as logos, colours and fonts to reflect their respective brands.
He said the platform offers modules covering governance, strategy, enterprise risk, audit, ESG, ISO standards, compliance, business continuity and organisational resilience.
Johnstone said Wire Speed Systems developed its solutions based on continued engagement with clients and an understanding of the challenges they face.
He said the company’s broader services include cybersecurity, managed ICT support, software development, ICT training, ICT strategy, cloud services, data and AI analytics, penetration testing, digital forensics and GPRC advisory and automation.
The presentation formed part of the GPRC Conference, which is bringing stakeholders together to discuss enterprise risk, strategy, compliance, internal audit, business continuity and incident management.
