BSA TRAINING CENTRE PRESENTS TO KING E545 000 SCHOLARSHIPS

MANZINI– The BSA Training Centre has pledged tuition scholarships valued at E545 000 for 20 students as part of the tetfulo presentations made during the 58th Eswatini International Trade Fair on Saturday night.

The scholarship was among a series of presentations made to His Majesty King Mswati III and Her Majesty Indlovukazi during the evening proceedings at the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre. The tetfulo were announced by Minister of Commerce, Industry and Trade Manqoba Khumalo.

The BSA Training Centre’s presentation will support 20 students through tuition scholarships, with the total value placed at E545 000.

The presentations formed part of activities surrounding the official opening of the 58th EITF, which was attended by His Majesty and Her Majesty, alongside government officials, business leaders, exhibitors and other invited guests.

Other organisations also made presentations during the evening. The Eswatini National Petroleum Company presented three cows to His Majesty, while ESERA presented two cows, one intended for Her Majesty Indlovukazi. Eswatini Medical Christian University presented E100 000 to His Majesty and E50 000 to Her Majesty.

The Ministry of Education and Training also presented E30 000, while Mnotfo Dlamini and his company Shunifu presented E10 000. Other presentations included portraits, corporate gifts, an aircraft model and an eagle sculpture.

The 58th EITF is being held at the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre under the theme “Unlocking Green Economy Opportunities for Sustainable Trade Promotion”. The trade fair brings together local and international exhibitors and combines business, investment, exhibitions and entertainment.

The event continues into September, with visitors expected to make use of the remaining days to engage with exhibitors and explore products and services on display.
