MALKERNS – The sparks of creativity blazed bright at this year’s MTN Bushfire Festival, and two lucky traders have already secured their golden tickets for 2025.
In a festival filled with stunning crafts, mouth-watering food, and vibrant energy, Zoggs (Pty) Ltd and All American Corndog stole the show, earning the prestigious titles of Best Craft Stall and Best Food Stall, respectively. Their reward? A free stall at the MTN Bushfire 2025, ensuring their spot at one of Africa’s hottest festivals.
Against the scenic backdrop of Eswatini’s Malkerns Valley, Bushfire’s Marketplace and Food Zone sizzled with innovation and charm.
• Zoggs (Pty) Ltd, famed for their hand-painted, recycled Papier-Mâché Homeware Collection, wowed festivalgoers with creative stall design and eco-friendly artistry. Their handcrafted pieces were not just products but vibrant, soulful creations.
• All American Corndog, on the other hand, turned heads (and tastebuds) with their unique menu, outstanding service, and stall design as appetizing as their food. Their eco-friendly practices sealed the deal, earning them the coveted Best Stall Winner in the Food Zone badge.
Both winners will enjoy the ultimate prize—a free stall at next year’s festival, happening from May 30 to June 1, 2025.
The magic didn’t end there. Bushfire spotlighted other standout traders who brought their A-game:
• Adorable Accessories snagged the Best Newcomer Stall award for their stylish designs and fresh vibe, earning a 50% discount on their 2025 stall fee.
• The Explorers Smash Burgers, new to the Bushfire scene, smashed their way to success, winning Best Emerging Stall. With a strong menu and booming sales (ranking second-highest in the Food Zone!), they’re already making waves. Their efforts also earned them the Chairman’s Award at the 2024 Eswatini Consumer’s Choice Awards.
The MTN Bushfire Festival organizers expressed gratitude to all traders who sprinkled magic across the event. Whether through crafts, accessories, or mouth-watering eats, their creativity elevated the festival experience.
