MBABANE– Take a moment to pause, sip, and connect in style at Bahle Gallery.
Coffee lovers, creatives, and socialites alike are in for a treat as Bahle Gallery hosts But 1st Coffee, an all-day coffee-themed social event designed to bring people together in a relaxed, stylish atmosphere on Saturday, July 19, 2025.
Running from 10 AM to 4 PM at 112 Dzeliwe Street, Mbabane, the event promises great coffee, delicious pancakes, soulful music, and a curated vibe that encourages conversation, networking, and culture.
The theme “But 1st Coffee” isn’t just about caffeine, it’s a celebration of intentional living.
“The theme But 1st Coffee was inspired by the idea that coffee is more than just a drink, it’s a ritual, a mood-setter, and often the spark that starts meaningful conversations,” said Nduduzo Nkonyane “Dankos,” PRO for Swazi Boy Entertainment. “We wanted to create an event that captures that intentional pause before the hustle, a moment to connect, recharge, and feel inspired. It’s about bringing people together in a relaxed, stylish space where they can share ideas, build relationships, and simply enjoy the vibe, over great coffee, of course.”
Entry fees are E150 or E300 (both options include coffee and pancakes), making it accessible while offering a premium, curated experience.
Attendees are encouraged to follow the white and khakhi dress code, embracing the event’s theme: “A cozy, caffeine-fueled celebration of coffee with culture music.”
“We want people to feel relaxed, energized, and part of something fresh and exciting,” Dankos added. “Whether you’re a coffee lover, a creative spirit, or just someone who enjoys good company in a beautiful setting, this event is about connection and community. The Mbabane location adds to the experience, there’s something classy and elevated about being surrounded by stylish people in a thoughtfully curated space.”
Bahle Gallery, with its art-forward setting, offers the perfect backdrop for an event that’s as much about atmosphere as it is about taste. Swazi Boy Entertainment and its partners, Bahle Pantry, Foundry Coffee, and Bahle Gallery itself, aim to showcase Eswatini’s emerging coffee culture in a modern, stylish way.
“Coffee culture in Eswatini is still emerging, and through this event, we hope to make it a lifestyle,” Dankos explained. “It’s about normalizing the idea of meeting in beautiful spaces like Bahle Gallery just to have coffee, share laughs, talk ideas, and unwind. This event celebrates life itself, no pressure, no formalities. Just good coffee, delicious pancakes, soulful music in the background, and a social atmosphere where people can take photos, create memories, and share their experiences online, all under one stylish dress code.”
Music is also central to the experience. Guests can expect jazzy, deep soul sounds from local DJs including DJ Wicked, Mix Mash, and Crooks, who will provide a rich, immersive soundtrack for the day.
“The music sets the tone, chilled, classy, and immersive,” Dankos noted. “As the event grows, we’re looking to expand the sound too, possibly adding live performances in the future to enhance the experience even more.”
