EZULWINI – Help Raise Funds for Baby Abongile Dlamini, Living with Cloverleaf Syndrome and Cerebral Palsy

On Saturday, 19 July, Mdzimba View Shisanyama will be the heart of compassion as it hosts a Charity Event to raise urgent medical funds for Abongile Dlamini, a beautiful and brave baby girl living with the rare and life-altering Cloverleaf Syndrome and Cerebral Palsy.

At just a young age, Abongile’s health challenges are immense. She has lost her eyesight, cannot speak, and is unable to eat or swallow due to extremely weak oesophagus muscles. She suffers from severe sleep difficulties, is unable to attend school, and has already undergone brain surgery.

Her condition has placed an overwhelming financial burden on her family. Current and ongoing medical needs include:

Cape Town Red Cross Children’s Hospital: E26,180.30

Mbabane Clinic: E7,000

Mini Feeding Tube: E17,000 each (requires monthly replacement)

Connection Feeds: E7,000

Fribini Milk: E200 per tin (continuous need)

In a generous show of solidarity, Mdzimba View Shisanyama has offered their venue to host the event, and all gate proceeds will go directly to Abongile’s medical expenses. Every artist and DJ performing on the day is doing so voluntarily, giving their time and talents to support this urgent cause.

We are calling on the entire community to attend in numbers, spread the word, and stand in solidarity with Abongile and her family. Even if you’re unable to be there in person, donations of any size can make a world of difference.
