MALKERNS- DJ Kent spins your Xperience to life!
South African DJ and producer DJ Kent has officially joined the Phase One line-up of the highly anticipated MoMo Xperience 2025, as confirmed by Festival Director Culolami “Mbekezeli” Dlamini.
This year’s festival will be held on 28 June 2025 at Malkerns Country Club, promising to be bigger, bolder, and fully cashless.
The 2025 edition of Eswatini’s ground breaking music and arts festival was officially launched at MTN Headquarters in Ezulwini on May 14 — and the vibes are already electric.
South African DJ legend DJ Kent is set to headline this year’s line-up. Known for his silky mixes and genre-blending production, DJ Kent brings serious star power to the event happening 28 June 2025 at Malkerns Country Club.
Born Khensani Mabaso in Soweto, DJ Kent has been dominating dance floors since the early 2000s. His 2013 album The Weekent went gold in under a month and remains a South African house classic. From pop hooks to club anthems, his sound is a fusion of smooth, sophisticated rhythm — and MoMo fans can expect a live set that delivers just that.
Festival Director Cululami “Mbekezeli” Dlamini of Melting C Events announced a diverse Phase One artist line-up, blending international headliners with homegrown heroes:
Mthunzi – Afro-soul crooner from KZN
Nontokozo Mkhize – Gospel sensation and METRO FM’s 2024 Newcomer of the Year

“This year, we’re not just throwing a festival—we’re creating a lifestyle moment,” said Dlamini. “#MoMoXperience2025 will be a cultural reset.”
Here’s the twist that sets MoMo apart: this entire event is 100% cashless. With MoMo wristbands, festivalgoers can tap to pay for everything from food and drinks to merch, without pulling out a phone or wallet.
On-site top-up stations and digital support teams will keep things smooth all day long.
Last year’s festival was headline by South African renowned artists; Morda and Ami Faku.
